Mark Lanegan with Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic - Down in the Dark
Posted by CGUE Aug. 18, 2008 @ 4:04 PM EDTThis song was originally on a Screaming Trees album (i forget which), this version was made when Kurt and Krist (from Nirvana) Mark Lanegan, and Mark Pikerel (from The Screaming Trees) teamed up to do some covers of songs by the bluesman known as LeadBelly. They recorded several songs including Where Did You Sleep Last Night, Aint it A Shame, and They Hung Him On a Cross. After this Kurt and Mark teamed up again and recorded this song.
As far as i know the personell is : Mark Lanegan (Lead Vocals, Guitar)
Kurt Cobain (Backing Vocals, Guitar)
Krist Novoselic (Bass Guitar )
Some unknown guy (Drums)
